KEYNOTE SPEAKERPastor Mervin H. Ellis, MS, LMFT, QS (MHC & MFT), Member—AAMFT
Pastor Mervin H. Ellis is an ordained minister and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist whose work bridges spiritual care and mental health. With more than a decade of clinical experience and over twenty years of pastoral leadership, he is known for strengthening families, guiding congregations, and supporting individuals through life's most challenging moments.
Pastor Ellis has been joyfully married to Yvette Ellis since June 27, 1997, and together they have served as devoted partners in ministry. Their shared commitment to faith, family, and service continues to shape their impact on churches and communities.

  • He has served as Senior Pastor in the Central Jamaica Conference, where he provided "family, premarital, grief, crisis, group and individual counseling to children and adults in the church and community." His ministry is marked by compassionate leadership, practical teaching, and a deep commitment to holistic wellness.
    As a mental health professional, Pastor Ellis has worked extensively in correctional andcrisis-stabilization settings, offering individual therapy, group therapy, bio-psychosocialassessments, and "emergency psychological evaluation and crisis counseling." His clinical expertise enriches his preaching, teaching, and community engagement.
    Pastor Ellis has also served as a Lecturer in Counseling Psychology at Northern CaribbeanUniversity and as Acting Assistant Chaplain for the Jamaica Constabulary Force, providing critical incident stress support and counseling to officers and families.
    He holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology (Marriage & Family Therapy emphasis) and is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the State of Florida.
    Pastor Ellis brings a warm, grounded, and hope-centered voice to every platform, inspiringaudiences toward emotional resilience, spiritual growth, and stronger relationships.

Marlyne DeLima, MS, LMHC
Marlyne DeLima is a licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience as an Educator and Counselor in public and private high schools. In 2011, she began serving as a private practitioner and founded Changing Perspectives, LLC where she works with a broad spectrum of clients. Her areas of expertise include helping couples develop an intimate and meaningful relationship with mutual respect; helping families resolve parent/teen conflicts; helping people recover from depression, anxiety, and other disorders; and helping to improve self-esteem.
She is an interactive psychotherapist with a holistic approach who provides support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. By integrating cognitive-behavioral techniques with complementary methodologies, her and her team of dedicated therapists offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, they work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
Ms. DeLima has a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University as well as a License in Mental Health in the state of Florida.
Ms. DeLima takes a holistic and integrative approach to mental health. Her goal is to help each person uncover their true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating.
Elder Glenford A. Pringle, BSN, MSN
Glenford Anthony Pringle holds BSN and MSN degrees In Psychiatric/ Mental Health Nursing and has practiced nursing for over 45 years. Additionally, he has held the position of Adjunct Professor of Nursing at Broward College for 15 years. Glenford Pringle is also trained in Pastoral Ministry from Pentecostal Bible Institute and practices his faith with compassion and humility.
Tony, as he is fondly called, has been married to Ileen Pringle for 45 years and they are the parents of two adult children, and grandparents to four precious grandchildren.
Tannisha Stewart, PhD, LMHC
Dr. Tannisha Stewart is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University, where she obtained a dual Masters in Mental Health Counseling and Human Services. Tannisha is a licensed mental health counselor with almost a decade of experience in treating depression, substance use, anxiety, schizophrenia, domestic violence victims, post traumatic stress disorder and survivors of sexual abuse.
Dr. Lindsay M. Syeh, PhD, LMHC, NCC, MFT, MDiv
Dr. Lindsay M. Syeh (pronounced: sigh) is a minister, faith leader, professor, academic scholar, and licensed mental health therapist.
She has over a decade of ministerial experience and has had the privilege of trailblazing in roles as a pastor, chaplain, departmental leader, and commissioned and ordained minister within the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Presently, Dr. Syeh humbly serves as a licensed therapist at Just Pivot Wellness in Doral, Fl, where the organization strives to embrace wellness with intention. She is also a counselor educator and supervisor for master-level and doctoral-level counselors.
As both a victim and victor of her own church hurt experiences, Pastor Syeh is deeply passionate about educating marginalized communities on religious harm, such as church harm, religious abuse, and religious trauma. She facilitates conversations and training on navigating church hurt and congregational conflict, integrating the intersections of faith, spirituality, and mental wellness.
One of Dr. Syeh’s favorite verses is Micah 6:8 “But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don’t take yourself too seriously— take God seriously.”
Dr. M. Webster Turgott, LMFT
Pastor M. Webster Turgott is passionately devoted to proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, while nurturing the spiritual, emotional, and relational growth of individuals, couples, and families. For over two decades, he has skillfully integrated pastoral ministry with the practice of family therapy, firmly believing that, through the power of the Holy Spirit, personal and relational challenges can be transformed into opportunities for healing and growth.
He currently serves as the senior pastor of the Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he leads with compassion, vision, and a heart for people. By his side in ministry is his beloved wife, Pauline, whose unwavering support and partnership continue to enrich their shared calling.
Pastor Turgott holds a Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University and a Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling: Marriage and Family from Liberty University. He is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida. Pastor Turgott is committed to guiding others through life’s complexities with both faith and professional insight.
